At Bunnik Tours, we’re serious about travel. So much so that in 1995 we started a family-run business. Fast forward 30 years, and we’re still doing what we love: designing meaningful and rewarding small group travel experiences that create lasting memories. We like to think of ourselves as the OG small group touring experts – it’s been our bread and butter long before it became a ‘thing’.
We founded Bunnik Tours to give like-minded travellers the kind of small group tours we'd want to go on ourselves… and we do. With no more than 20 people per group (maximum of 12 in Africa), our itineraries strike the right balance between just enough guidance and the freedom to explore.
We've put everything you've ever wanted to see and do (plus a few hidden gems) into our all-considered tours. That’s right, we’ve taken care of everything for you. All you need to worry about is having the time of your life.
We care about making travel better through small group tours that go beyond the expected to deliver more meaningful moments of connection. If you’re only going to travel somewhere once, we make it count.

We received Business Review Weekly's Award for Excellence in Customer Service in 2012 and Marion Bunnik, our founder, was recognised as a finalist in the Telstra Business Women's Awards.
In 2017 we opened a wholly owned and operated office in Sri Lanka ensuring our guests have an easy and enjoyable booking experience.
Bunnik Tours was nominated for 2018 Escorted Touring Company of the Year at the Australian Travel Awards.
In 2019 Bunnik Tours was named the Best Tour Operator - International at the National Travel Industry Awards.
2000s
Bunnik Travel received the prestigious award for Australia’s Best Retail Travel Agency at the National Travel Industry Awards in 2000, 2001 and 2003.
In 2004 we launched Bunnik Tours with the first tours departing for Thailand, Egypt and then, in 2006, South America.
Our growing success was recognized in 2009 when we won Business Review Weekly’s Fast 100 Award.
1990s
Driven by a passion for travel and a commitment to her customers, Marion Bunnik opened the doors of her own travel agency in 1995 with 4 excited staff members.
