Litchfield National Park is a delight in every sense of the word. Around only an hour drive from the Territory’s capital, Darwin; this park is packed with hidden gems.
Here you’ll find a plethora of natural wonders: like the impeccable Karrimurra (Florence Falls), cascading into a crystal clear plunge pool, these falls and their surroundings will enchant you; and Buley Rockhole, with its turquoise, flowing waters.

Next up is the rocky cliffs and tranquil waters of Leliyn (Edith Falls), located in the famous Nitmiluk National Park, or more widely known as Katherine National Park. Set against a backdrop of dusty red cliffs, the pure beauty of the Falls' surroundings will draw you in and leave you wanting more and more. Ideal for swimming all year round, the refreshing waters of the Falls and swimming holes are the perfect escape from reality.
Kakadu is a sight to behold – and it’s not hard to understand why it’s been recognised as a World Heritage-listed site for its outstanding culture. The park’s famed Burrungkuy (Nourlangie) region is popular for its well-preserved rock art, wildlife, and incredible scenery. A window into the rich Aboriginal culture and traditions, the rock art site will leave you speechless.
