How much does a trip to the Arctic cost?
An Arctic independent travel package can range in price, depending on what you want to see and do. On Aurora Expeditions’ 17 day Greenland Odyssey, you can hike across the arctic tundra, experience the enormity of Greenland and so much more, starting from $23,895 per person. For $13,095 per person, you could travel to Iceland on the Aurora Expeditions’ 11 day Iceland Circumnavigation. On this package you will explore the 'Land of Ice and Fire', walk along a black sand beach, see spectacular fjords, impressive waterfalls and plenty more. This is only a taste of what you can experience on our Arctic tours.
Are you allowed to travel to the Arctic?
Yes, you are allowed to travel to the Arctic circle. However, you will need to do it through a tour with an experienced guide. At Bunnik Tours, we are proud to have teamed up with Aurora Expeditions and Oceanwide Expedition cruises to offer a number of Arctic independent travel packages. These include cruises through Greenland, Iceland, Antarctica, Falkland Islands, Orkney Islands and South Georgia. We currently offer voyages including Svalbard (Spitsbergen) and Greenland which could only be done on an Arctic cruise.

How do you travel in the Arctic safely?
Most Arctic adventures take place during the Northern Hemisphere summer, where temperatures don’t tend to drop too far below 0 degrees. For shore excursion we recommend you pack sunglasses, sunscreen (SPF 30+) and warm, waterproof trousers. We advise that you take warm, windproof and waterproof clothing that can easily be layered. It is recommended that you take two pairs of gloves and always follow the instructions of your Arctic tour operator.
